Rooms That Fit the Celebration You're Planning
Portobello Banquets offers several banquet rooms with varying capacities to fit your celebration. The Dome Room holds 70 to 120 guests on its own. We open the Dome and Annex together for 120 to 250 guests. Smaller celebrations of 50 to 70 guests can opt for the Annex Room, Front Room, or Back Room. All banquet hall events require a minimum of 50 adults.
Every room is set with gold Chiavari chairs with white seats. Every package includes a fitted to the floor ivory tablecloth with your napkin color of choice. Colored overlays or ivory Majestic overlays are available for an additional charge.Â
A Menu Built for Every Generation at the Table
Adults choose between a dinner buffet and a plated dinner. The buffet opens with a cold antipasto station, a pasta chaffer, four entrees from chicken, fish, veal, or eggplant, and a carving station with top sirloin of beef, turkey, or smoked ham.Â

The plated dinner adds a fuller course structure with pasta, salad, and three entrees. Dessert includes a special occasion cake or Italian pastries, fresh sliced fruit, coffee, tea, and soda.
Younger guests have their own separate buffet. Chicken fingers with French fries, penne vodka or marinara, mozzarella sticks, fried shrimp, barbecued spare ribs, mini burger sliders, a celebration cake, ice cream, and soft drinks. A non-alcoholic martini station is available as an optional add-on for the younger guest buffet.
The celebration cake is included with your package. Pick your filling from cannoli cream, chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, dulce de leche, or hazelnut. Choose your frosting, select up to three accent colors, and add a cake inscription. An edible image upgrade is available for an additional charge.
How Your Event Is Staffed and Coordinated
Your DJ and photographer receive meals at a reduced rate and work the event rather than sitting in the dining room, which keeps attention where it belongs. Every outside vendor must submit a certificate of insurance before your event date. You're welcome to bring any vendor you choose.Â
We also maintain a preferred vendor list covering DJ services, photography, videography, floral design, and decor if you're still building your team. Florists and decorators may come in on the day of the event for setup.
Menu and linen selections are due one month before the event. Final payment, guest count, and floor plan are due one week before the event date. Those deadlines are communicated clearly when you book.
